WHAT WE DO
How We Got Started
Plague Mask Players was founded as an inclusive outlet for professional performers to share their craft while disregarding gender, age, and race in the virtual world of 2020. In 2024, we have now built a strong global community founded on the values of empowering, supporting, and developing theatre artists.

“What I love about performing with PMP is the raw talent, fun, and entertainment that goes into each production. I really enjoy seeing the non-traditional casting choices that keep each production exciting to be a part of.”

Laura McHugh
“I’ve experienced my own frustrations with the way the “old guard” in the industry treats performers. PMP inspires me to keep seeking out forward-thinking, affirming artists who aren’t afraid to think outside the box while producing great art.”

-
Mauro Primorac
“What I like is not only the diversity of actors, but more importantly we all share a connection to Shakespeare’s text and characters. Taking our own experiences and using the text as a foundation is where the magic happens.”
